Outdoor spaces

Here at Streeton PS we have a significant amount of outdoor space. The equivalent of two MCG fields! We have soccer nets, cricket cages, three playgrounds, basketball & netball courts, multiple sand pits, GAGA ball pit and more!

The above facilities are nestled within a well established native environment. This natural setting not only enhances the beauty of the location, but also fosters a harmonious relationship between the built environment and the local ecosystem. The design and placement of our facilities have been thoughtfully integrated to respect and preserve the natural landscape.

Our newly built COLA (covered outdoor learning area) is situated at the back of our school and provides a space for students to learn outside.

Classrooms & Sensory Room

Our classrooms and other spaces were updated in 2023 with fresh paint, carpet, climate control and more.

We have a spacious library, art room and kitchen classroom.

We also have a special sensory room for all kids who need access to it, equipped with many things to help all kids regulate.

School Hall

Our school hall in modern and fully equiped with seperate bathrooms (including a disabled bathroom) and kitchen, as well as two smaller spaces.

Our assemblies are held in the hall, as well as many other parts of the schools days & special school events.

Camp Australia run their program in an adjacent classroom.

Our hall is also available for hire - please call the office for details on how to hire.

Our Farm & Water Oasis

Our permaculture farm is a thriving garden that our students work and learn in each week. We are fortunate to have our own flock of chickens on campus, and our students take an active role in their daily care. Each day, the students participate in tasks such as feeding, ensuring there is fresh water, collecting eggs, and helping to maintain the coop. Students develop a sense of responsibility, learn about animal welfare, and gain insight into sustainable practices.

Our garden oasis is a special space, fenced in for safety but used by classes throughout the week, another opportunity and space for our students to learn in a different environment.

All these spaces set us apart from other schools around us.
